LYAH BETH LEFLORE-ITUEN (she/her/hers), a co-founder and Executive Director of the Shirley Bradley LeFlore Foundation, is known for her work as a television and film producer, author, and music supervisor. With a career spanning over two decades, she is recognized as one of the most talented and versatile creatives in the entertainment industry.
Her achievements have been featured in respected national publications and media outlets like The New York Times, Essence Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, and CNN. Lyah has held positions at Nickelodeon, Uptown Records/Entertainment, Wolf Films/Universal, and Alan Haymon Development (AHD), where she served as an in-house Producer and VP of TV Development and Production. In 2018, she played a key role in launching the production company of Golden Globe and Emmy Award Winning Director Anthony Hemingway, serving as SVP. As an author, Lyah has written eight critically acclaimed books, two of which have become National Bestsellers, covering genres from fiction and young adult to non-fiction. She serves 2Leaf Press, Inc.’s board, and is a contributor to the six-volume series, TRAILBLAZERS: Black Women who Helped Make America Great (2021-2025) by Gabrielle David.
